Float Therapy
Floatation therapy is a socially-distant massage alternative with a host of benefits for body and mind. Water super-saturated with half a ton of Epsom salts is as close to weightless as you can feel on earth. Also known as a sensory deprivation tank or sensory deprivation chamber, our luxury float rooms are the best way to give your brain a break from external distractions. Couples float therapy is also available, and is a great way to explore a deeper connection with that special someone!
Infrared Sauna
We’re not just the best float spa in Santa Cruz, we’re also the best place to sauna! Our far infrared sauna is a type of dry sauna that uses infrared waves to raise your core temperature at the cellular level and help you get a great sweat. Great first experience. Tanks are huge, and that’s coming from someone who is very claustrophobic. Super warm inside too, had a great meditation session- will be back. Staff member saw it was my first time and was happy to explain every little thing I could need to know which eased my nerves a lot. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

What in incredible experience. I had never floated and decided to try the night before my first triathlon. Being someone who also has a fear of complete darkness I was not sure how it would go. I could not believe how amazing and calm I felt during the float and ALL my super intense nerves for my triathlon the next morning were gone! I woke up the next day calm and centered for my tri and placed 3rd!! I believe it was in huge part due to the calmness and balance that I was able to achieve from my experience at Equilibrium … I HIGHLY recommend trying a float, even if you do not have a race coming up. It will balance you and you will feel like a new person!

A true hidden gem of Santa Cruz. I was reluctant to try floating, but decided to give it a try based on the recommendation from a friend. I had a great experience, feeling much more relaxed after doing my first float. The staff is very friendly and everything us exceptionally clean. I highly recommend you giving this place a try.

This place is great. Their tanks are top notch. I float all over the country and the Zero Gravity Tanks are really something special. This could be the most therapeutic tank as it allows you the space to move your body and release stress and tension. It opens a whole new dimension for how the tank can be utilized. I have been able to move in these tanks in ways I have never been able to move my body before. Once the tension is worked out I can have an even deeper inner journey experience.
